Many thanks to the fabulous Domini Dragoone for her elegant and classic design. She offered more contempory options but I preferred this one. What do you think?

Some comments from early readers:
“An amazing book…a tour de force!” Jonathan Kirsch, author of Harlot by the Side of the Road: Forbidden Tales of the Bible
“A lovely and rare portrait of a woman artist and how she grows. What makes it truly great—besides the art, of course,— is that the hero is a woman battling the things that keep women from their art, their power.” - Cathryn Domrose, Science Writer
“Your writing is so easy for a non-artist like me to get totally sucked in.”
“Fascinating and fun!” “Bold and Beautiful”
The regular format of Art Blotter Plus will be back soon with another fascinating little known artist and other features!
Until then, Carry on Bravely and Out-Rageously!

The term “quarter-bound” refers to this traditional style of binding where the spine and part of the covers are in one material (linen, in this case) and the rest in another. It gives the book a refined, classic look and adds durability where the book gets the most handling.
Laura, I think the front page is appropriate considering Art and Love - seems to fit both, i think. Though i would have loved to see the more modern versions you have. I do not know much about Egg Tempera, which seems not to be used a lot anymore, but has a wonderful long life.
Looking forward to see the book. A lot of work you have done! Congratulations my Friend.
Beautiful design, I love it 🩷
